We are 2 road tripping grey nomads, who built our own caravan and are travelling around various parts of Australia. Though this blog started out and continues to be a more personal blog, it is slowly expanding along with our experinces to include resources to help others plan to get the most out of travelling in a caravan, motorhome or other RV. It includes recipes, humour and planning/organization. Underachievers like me have taken the easy option all our lives, settled for second best, been satisfied with the unsatisfactory. But spurred on by an overwhelming feeling of dissatisfaction lately, I have made the decision to turn things around, and achieve something really exciting before I turn fifty. I might write a book! I might run the New York Marathon! I might score a guest gig on The Circle!Could I become an overachiever? I don't know but I'm sure going to give it a half hearted attempt.Blogging my journey to self fulfillment - Cheaper than seeing a therapist.Would love you to join me, I need a bit of moral support!

In this Very Respectable Parent's opinion all this new modern parenting advice is impractical and contributing to a rapid social decline. To reverse this decline parents must throw out the sticker charts and take a firm hand to the fruit from their very own loins, and more to the point, to themselves. Only by taking a good hard look at themselves can parents claw back the last shreds of respectability.
